A tale of a Wynyard Hall wedding - June 2011

After packing up our gear and driving a massive 15 miles down the road I arrived at the amazing Wynyard Hall, Carina had done the sensible thing and booked Wynyards own treatment suite for a morning of pampering ...

This was one of those shots that followed those immortal words ' Dont take this one '

meanwhile Ruth my better half , had travelled a little further to meet the boys - doing what boys do before a wedding , eating and laughing ......

After tracking down the brides room at Wynyard Hall it was time for some artistic detaily type shots , we all love those , and when you have a walnut dresser to hang the dress on who wouldnt take the shot !

After a lot of fiddling and directing myself I managed to coax my 50mm prime lens into this shot with the dress providing the backdrop , I think it works nicely ?

The colour scheme the bride had chosen for the day was much to our liking , its always nice to see something a little more unusual and these colours were just fab ..

Meanwhile the boys and Ruth had arrived at Wynyard after a tough morning of , well eating and laughing I think .... they found an escape route and swiftly marched on ... to the chapel .....

It seems like a pretty pet friendly place too ...

At one stage Carina found herself a pretty impressive Lion , was Philip in trouble ????

And well I guess if I looked this good , I too would be checking out the odd mirror or two ..

The Lion wasnt enough of a temptation for Carina , and the handsome Philip won the day and took his brides hand in marriage in one of the most picteresque chapels you could dream of ..

And afterwards the weather had turned a fantastic shade of black and white just in time for us to do a confetti shot !

Ahh yes , lied a little this is actually around 20 minutes work in photoshop  !

Next it was off to the main room to get some photos of the cake and tables

Oh and nice to see the guys getting a little hands on with the glitter for a change !

After that and the family formal shots it was time for a more artistic stroll around the grounds with the happy couple ...

A game of hide and seek in the doorway

ahhh found them , there they are .....

Even caught them indulging in a quick smooch ..

The Hall makes a great backdrop to the photos ...

And theres even a bridge , which if you wait long enough for all the cars to clear off , makes a fab picture ..

once back inside and the wedding breakfast was served Sir John Hall popped in to the main reception and joined in a song with pianist Michael Mulroy , oh and whilst were dropping names - Russell Crowe was also staying at Wynyard at the same time , tho his minder seemed a little dis-interested in me taking photos of his man !

This photo was presented to Sir John Hall by the Pianist as a gift and is now framed in his home ...

Well a really impressive day at a fab venue and a lot of money spent making everything perfect , even down to hiring the Krays to play the first dance !

and last but not at all least our fab couple dance the night away ....

Photographers Andrew and Ruth , kit used Canon 5Dmk2s and 24-105L, 70-200L and 50mm 1.2L primes .....

thank you for looking ;)
