Back to the old school ....

Today was all about old school photography , Picked up a 35mm Canonet 28 Rangefinder circa 1960s for a couple of quid in a second hand shop a few days back , ordered up a new battery and some fuji velvia film through flea-bay and they arrived today. Plonked the new battery in and HURRAH the magic eye and shutter speed indicator fired up first go !

So after fumbling the film onto the reel and round the spindle through the slit and winding it on all at the same time in the dark ( good old days hey ) were ready to go .

So off to the local park with ruth for an hour , her with an almighty looking Canon 5Dmk2 with 24-105L Lens looking super , and me with a small silver box hanging from my neck on a weedy leather strap , geek-a-hoy lol , but theres still something special about 35mm , or maybe its just the fun of not hainvg a clue what the shots will look like , still we went . we saw , and I will have to let you know if we conquered :)
